Responsibilities include rounding on 20-22 adult patients per shift within a 532-bed facility that carries a hospitalist census of approximately 370, encompassing ICU rounding, STEMI, Stroke, transplant cellular therapy, and complex cardiac cases; no trauma cases are included. A consulting physician is available on-site and sees 12-20 consults per day, and intensivists manage ICU patients, with no procedures required of the hospitalist. Board certification, an active state license, an active state DEA, prescriptive authority, and prior hospitalist experience are required for this locum tenens assignment.
