Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Details:
• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist services on a call-only schedule
• Work 24-hour beeper call shifts from 6am to 6am
• Coverage needed for specific dates: June 25-29, July 2-7, July 23-27, and July 30-August 1
• Must have active California medical license and DEA registration
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• NRP certification required along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Must have clean malpractice history and clear NPDB record
• Required skills include neonatal airway management and intubation
• Manage neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression
• Perform emergent UVC placement in delivery room settings
• Conduct UVC/UAC placement and lumbar puncture procedures
• EKG interpretation capabilities required
• Preferred skills include ventilator management and chest tube insertion for neonates
• Must demonstrate 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in pediatrics
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 15 days
• Updated CV with all hospital affiliations required upon presentation

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
