Locum Hospitalist Need in Alaska

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist for an urgent night coverage need at a hospital in Alaska.

Position Details:

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Length: 3 months, with potential to extend

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.)

Call: Rotating

Coverage Expectation: Preferably 7 consecutive shifts, about 2 weeks per month

Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day

Procedures: None required

EMR: Epic

Orientation:

2-hour onboarding session covering EMR and quality measures

Two shadow shifts following onboarding

Requirements:

Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Active Alaska medical license required
