Position Details

• Location: Massena, NY
• Start Date: November 7, 2026
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
• Ongoing opportunity

Position Responsibilities

• Provide general medical care to hospitalized adult patients
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and medical conditions
• Evaluate patients upon admission
• Coordinate care for hospitalized patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and X-rays
• Communicate and coordinate with patients’ primary care providers
• Answer patient questions regarding treatments and care plans

Unit Information

• 109 total beds
• Patient population: Acutely ill adults with a wide variety of medical conditions
• Patient ratio: 1:10–15
• Unit staffing: 1 Physician/Provider, 1 NP, 1 LPN
• Medication dispensing system: Pyxis
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified
• Active New York medical license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience
• Epic experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS or RQI certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Residents and fellows cannot be accepted
