Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative Advanced Practice team delivering high-quality inpatient care
• Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist
• Schedule: Full-time nights with premium differentials and incentives offered
• No call required
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer outside-of-scope issues to physician as needed
• Practice with significant clinical autonomy and a wide clinical scope in a smaller, community-focused setting
• Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified)
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting required
