Gynecology/Oncology NP/PA Opening in San Francisco, CA

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (60-90 Days)
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Shift Details: 3x12
Schedule: 6a-6:30p
Work Details:
• Support staff: RNs, MAs, usually only one APP on service at a time:
• Patients per day: can range from 6-20 patients per day, usually 10-12 patients per day
• Patient population/age: adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Department description: post op management, some inpatient chemo admin, most work is inpatient management. No OR time. No Clinic time, strictly inpatient. Lots of uterine, cervical, ovarian cancer – range of complex post-op patients
• EMR: epic
• Hospital bed size:
• Special procedures:, Occasional wound care, No central lines, No big procedures
• Skills required: Administering chemo strongly preferred, Must have inpatient surgical oncology experience, Strongly prefer gyn onc experience - can train
Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: if NP, has to have ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
• License required: CA license required for NP, PA can license
• Minimum experience required: 1-2 years of inpatient experience
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days(usually closer to 90)

• 6 months with option to extend
• Renowned Hospital System in CA
• Consistent Scheduling, 3x12 per week (block schedule available)
