Geriatric Outpatient Locum Opportunity – San Mateo, CA

Assignment Details:
• Start Date: ASAP (Providers must be available to start within 4-6 weeks)
• Contract: 3 months with an option to extend
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: ~14 patients per day

• Patient Population:
o 100% Medicare/Medicaid combined
o High-need, high-complexity cases
o Diverse patient population with multiple languages spoken
o Patients primarily in their 80s/90s – strong geriatric focus required
o Extensive support staff available (RNs, other clinicians)

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Internal Medicine (Geriatric Board preferred but not required)
o Family Medicine BC considered
o Board Eligible considered on a case-by-case basis (must have recent clinical experience)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years (no hospital experience required)
• License: Active California license required
• Credentialing: Emergency privileges available

• Additional Requirements:
o Candidates must be comfortable working in a public health FQHC setting
o This is not a teaching facility – providers should be aligned with the patient population and care model

• Ongoing Assignment
• 8 hour shifts
• Emergency Privs offered - Quick Cred
