Locums General Surgeon Needed in West Virginia!

Job description

Specialty: General Surgery
Start Date: July 1st – Dec 31st
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: Call Coverage – 8 days per month (8 days in a row?
Schedule: 8 days per month 24 hour call coverage - 7am - 7am

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 8 days per month
• Patients per day: Volume is 0-10 calls a day, usually on the lower end
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 70 beds
• Special procedures: EGD and Colonoscopy preferred but not required

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required
• DEA: required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Willing To License?: YES (IMLC or WV temp license preferred)
