ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2696575
• Location: Seneca, PA
• Target Start: January 2025
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Support staff: Surgeon and APP
• Coverage Type: Need 20-25 shifts per month, ongoing
• Schedule Details: Clinic on a Monday-Friday basis, at least 2-3 days a week. In addition, there would be elective OR cases and OR block time. There will be a requirement of 24-hour clinic +call shifts at minimum 2 days per week.
• Facility Type: Hospital/Clinic
• EMR: Cerner and epic
• Avg. Daily Census: avg admissions on call – 2. *Consults per day: 5
• Outpatient per day: 20 *Scheduled cases: 5-10
• Patient Age Group: 95% adult 5% peds
• Procedures: Endoscopy Upper & Lower Scopes. In addition to bread and butter general surgery. During Clinic, will see the patients that are scheduled for them and determine a need for surgery.
• Typical Cases: Appendectomy, gallbladder, etc. general bread and butter cases
• Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Active PA or IMLC **Will License**, DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
