Position Details:
Patient Population: All Ages (Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric)
Setting: Hospital-based
Responsibilities: Provide general surgical coverage, manage adult, trauma, and pediatric surgical cases.
Required Procedures: General surgery cases (adult, trauma, pediatric)
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: 2 general surgeons in practice
Days Per Month: As needed (specific coverage dates Nov 27–30)
On-Call/Weekends: Yes, 24-hour call including weekends

Job Highlights:

Submission Requirements:
• Board Certified in General Surgery – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• Active MI Medical License – Required at submission
• Recent General Surgery Experience (within last 2 years) – Required
• Available for full coverage dates (Nov 27–30, 2025) – Required
• COVID Vaccination – Required at name clear
