About the clinician's workday

Primary duties include performing general surgery cases such as hernias, gallbladder procedures, and endoscopic procedures with 1.5 hours of rounding per shift. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation through the EPIC EMR system and managing 20 shifts per month at this 273-bed Level IV trauma facility. Board certification in General Surgery and BLS certification are mandatory requirements along with an active Kentucky license for this assignment.
