LOCUM POSITION DETAILS #47202

• Call Coverage – for locum coverage “bread and butter” General Surgery duties:
o laparoscopies, emergency cholecystectomies, EGDs, Scopes, etc.
• Ongoing. (No Clinic. IP rounding for surgical consults).
• Hospital: 25-bed
o Birth Center, rural Clinic and Urgent Care.
• Level IV Trauma Center, Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

REQUIRED:
• IA state license; active, unrestricted.
• Board Certified – General Surgery/Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of accredited residency)
• BLS, WA – DEA
• 2-years of case logs

COMPENSATION:
• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided.
