General Surgery Physician needed in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job description

• Coverage Type: 24/7 but if they are not rounding or operating, they can be offsite (30-minute call response)
• Schedule Details: June 10 7a- June 18 7a; September 8 7a-September 16 7a; October 14 7a-October 28 7a

Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital - Level III trauma
• Practice Setting: inpatient
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Patient Age Group: Primarily adult but could have appendectomy down to age 8 (or whatever surgeon is comfortable with).
• Procedures: mostly bread and butter general surgery; some blunt force trauma and some penetrating.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Board Certified in General Surgery
• State License(s): IA or IMLC
• Certifications: ACLS
• CSR Req’d: Yes
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 2-3
