We are seeking a General Surgery MD/DO for an ongoing assignment in Dothan, Alabama.

Start Date: June 2026
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call coverage
Practice Setting: Hospital
Assignment Details:
• Call-only coverage with beeper call (30-minute response time)
• Average 20 patients per shift
• Trauma Level III facility
• 200-bed hospital
• Case mix includes general surgery and laparoscopic procedures (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs)
• Additional procedures include chest tube placement, central line insertion, and vascular access
License: Active Alabama License Required (IMLC accepted)
Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ACLS and BLS required
• Must be comfortable with a broad general surgery case mix
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
