Assignment Details:
• Start Date: 06-30-2026
• Coverage Type: Call only (beeper call)
• Phone Consults: ~10 per shift
• Patients Seen: ~20 per shift
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital, level III trauma
• EMR: Cerner

Case Mix / Skills Required:
• Adult general surgery
• Laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair (herniorrhaphy), Nissen fundoplication
• Chest wall and pleural procedures, chest tube placement
• Central line placement and vascular access procedures
• Vascular surgery support

Requirements:
• State License: Alabama license required or IMLC
• Board Certification: BC/BE accepted in General Surgery
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
