General Surgery Physician Assistant Needed in Potsdam, NY

General Surgery PA – Potsdam, NY
Start: September 2026
Schedule: Full-time (4 weeks/month), Tues–Fri 7a–5p
Call:
• 1–2 weekends/month (Fri 5p–Mon 7a)
• ~4 weeknight call shifts/month (5p–7a)
• Weekend rounding: Sat–Sun 8a–12p
Role:
• Mix of OR first assist + surgical floor coverage
• Cases: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics
• Duties include suturing, hemostasis, assisting in procedures, rounding, orders, consults, and discharges
• Robotics experience required
Setting:
• 109-bed facility | Adult acute patients
• Patient ratio: ~1:10–15
• Epic EMR
Requirements:
• Active NY license
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• 2+ years recent experience
• Board Certified
