Locums – PA – Intraoperative/Robotic Surgery - Southern California

Position Overview
A hospital-based surgical program is seeking a skilled Intraoperative PA with DAVINCI XI robotic experience to assist in Gynecology, Urology, and General Surgery cases. Candidates with Head & Neck experience and/or Davinci SP robot experience are a plus. This role involves assisting surgeons in the OR; no independent procedures are performed.

Assignment Details

Start Date: 2/16/2026

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00–15:00 (some variation in start times; some schedules may start 6:45a or 9:00a)

Shift: Day shift, 5×8 hours

Call: Rotating weekends and holidays

Coverage: Full-time preferred; part-time considered if combining with other assignments

Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms

Procedures:

Gynecology: Hysterectomies

Urology: Prostatectomies, Nephrectomies

General Surgery: Bread-and-butter cases

Support Staff: OR team including surgeons, nurses, and surgical techs

Requirements

Experience: Must have DAVINCI XI robotic surgery experience

Additional Experience: Head & Neck robotics or Davinci SP a plus

Procedure Role: Assist surgeons in all cases (no independent procedures)

Licensure/Certifications: Active PA license required; BLS/ACLS current

Notes

Candidate must be comfortable in a high-volume OR environment across multiple service lines.

Ability to work rotating call (weekends/holidays) is required.
