NP or PA needed for General Surgery in MD!

Job description

-Facility is located in the Greater Baltimore Metro Area, and about 42 miles from Washington DC.
-Looking for local candidates. Looking for 3-4 days per week of availability. Must be licensed! Thank you.
-Specialty: APP-General Surgery (NP or PA)
-Start Date: ASAP
-Contract Length: ongoing (will also consider locums to perm)
-Shift Details: 7a-7:30pm, no call
-Schedule: 3-4 Days per week, Prefer someone with flexibility, but willing to work with what the provider is offering.
-Looking for local candidates that can drive in.
-Work Details:
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 12 shifts
· Patient population/age: 18+yrs old
· Department description: if there’s a person in the ER going to the OR, they’ll get their patient information prepared. They have the OR doc’s numbers to call in if needed.
· EMR: Cerner
· Skills required: APP that is comfortable with surgical pathology that will be covering the patients admitted to the hospital and doing any new consults coming in from the ER or inpatient. When not covering consults, they are responding to nursing calls, completing any surgery notes for patients that were admitted. Responding to any urgent codes on surgical patients. Must be comfortable w/ basic skills like nose gauze and such and handle independently
-Requirements:
· State license required: Yes, Maryland
· Board Certification: Required
· DEA: yes
· CSR: yes
· Certifications required: ACLS,
· Minimum experience required: 1 year with consult experience.
-Credentialing Timeframe: up to 90 days
-Willing To License?: No
