San Antonio Primary Care Need

Job description

• Must complete 4 hours of compliance training as well as Athena training (couple of days if needed)
• 3 month commitment with possibility of extension
• If provider is a good fit, possibility of permanent placement
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour lunch break
• 18-21 patients per day
• Mostly adults with some adolescents
• Athena EMR
• Possibility of shadowing on the first day if needed
• Working with 1 MA
• Travel and Lodging possible for great candidates
• Health counseling, disease screenings, treatment of illnesses, treatment of injuries, immunizations, and management of long-term conditions like diabetes, complex diseases, and dementia care
