South Texas Physician Needed ASAP

Job description

8-15 shifts per month
Shift hours 8a – 8p
12 hour shifts – Full Time (13 + per month)
12 hours shifts – Part Time (5 - 6 per month)
Must have seen pediatrics in the last 2 years and be comfortable with all ages
Travel to other TX centers in the greater Houston area is highly encouraged. Economical travel Reimbursable.
All walk-in visits, roughly 45 patients per 12-hour shift
Treating patients of all ages
Working as solo physician, with mid-level support staff to assist (Medical Assistants and lab tech)
Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment. Performs therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care.
EMR system - DocuTap
Basic Primary Care duties, sick visits, physicals, sutures, some light trauma, hypertension/diabetes
Travel and lodging can be provided
