The Psychiatrist provides clinical direction, general supervision, and training to the site staff, and has other managerial responsibilities. They approve, sign, and monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans. The Psychiatrist creates discharge plans to insure appropriate follow-up and support after discharge from the Sign up or sign in for contact information be a graduate of medical school and have completed an appropriate psychiatric Sign up or sign in for contact information be licensed to practice in the state of Delaware and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient Sign up or sign in for contact information DEA Sign up or sign in for contact information caseload and performance schedules such as peer review, clinical supervision, administrative meetings, and other administrative Sign up or sign in for contact information ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of those inmates referred by the medical and clinical services Sign up or sign in for contact information written summaries of history, diagnosis and treatment Sign up or sign in for contact information applicable, provide psychiatric services for inpatients, assessment, diagnosis, staffing, treatment planning, and regular review of all inmates Sign up or sign in for contact information applicable, provide psychiatric services for all inmates referred to the Healthcare Unit for those inmates in the general population who need regular psychiatric/behavioral health follow up.Where applicable, provide psychiatric services for those inmates who need to be transferred to Behavioral Health facilities.
