FM/IM/GP NEEDED IN KENTUCKY - 3 DAYS PER WEEK

We are looking to fill a position with a federal corrections facility in Kentucky! They are needing a physician 3 days / week for 8 hour shifts. I have listed the details down below - if you are interested or have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out at the contact info listed.

- Northeastern KY located on the border of KY, OH, and WV
- Board Certification NOT required
- 3 days / week
- 8 hr shifts
- 6 month commitment with option to extend
- ANY STATE LICENSE
- BLS required
- one year of corrections experience preferred but not required
- 6-8 week credentialing period
- SCOPE OF WORK:
• Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications from facility formulary
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• General sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage
• Provider must use facility EMR, training will be provided
