Nurse Practitioner Freeport, NY (S Shore of LI)
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full time in Freeport, NY. The incoming nurse practitioner must be compassionate, an excellent clinician, and someone who is experienced in women’s health. We have 3 clinics, which the Nurse Practitioner may be traveling between, but initially, the Nurse Practitioner will be covering our office in Freeport. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group, and the incoming Nurse practitioner will be focusing on women’s health.

Duties:
• Patient exam/evaluations (physical exam, review pertinent medical history/records/imaging) Annual wellness exam
• Order/review diagnostic testing/labs/bloodwork
• Perform Pap smears, preferred Colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, removal of IUD
• Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
• Patient education re: diagnosis, treatment plan options and lifestyle modifications
• Treatments for acute and chronic conditions
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Collaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient care
• Make phone calls/emails as needed or required for patient care
• Medication refills as needed

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Nurse Practitioner license in NY
• Women’s health experience
