🏥 Inpatient-Only Practice: Provide 24-hour call coverage for two sister facilities, managing GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus cases, and elevated liver enzymes.
💻 Modern Systems & Facilities: Work across both the main OR and endoscopy suite using Epic EMR at a Level III Trauma Center.
⚡ High-Impact Role: Handle a variety of acute GI cases independently with a daily volume of ~8 patients, supported by an efficient hospital team.
Position Details
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00a–7:00a), floating between sister hospitals
Workload: Average of 8 patients per day
Setting: Inpatient (Endo Suite & Main OR)
Support Staff: None (solo coverage)
Patient Population: All ages
Requirements
Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology
License: Active Tennessee license (will consider licensing assistance)
Certifications: BLS required
Skills: ERCP proficiency required
DEA: Required
Vaccination Policy: Exemptions accepted with valid medical documentation
Additional: Clean background required
