Gastro locum 24 hr call need in PA for 1 week a month min

Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Gastroenterology Physician with a target start date of May 2026 to cover north of Milton PA.

About this Physician Gastroenterology Role:
24hr call coverage + rounding. Block needs to start Friday at 5pm and end on the following Friday at 5pm

• 8 am rounding + 4-6 outpatient procedures scheduled in endoscopy usually screening colonoscopies
• Weekdays: Physician will meet with PA on call at 8am to review patients and round, will then have an average of 5 scheduled outpatient procedures. On call throughout day/evening.
• Weekend: Call Coverage; rounding needed in hospital based on volume/patients.
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements for this Gastroenterology Role:
· PA License
· Board Certified/Board Eligible
· ACLS, BLS, DEA
· EGD and Colonoscopies
· EUS and ERCP if you are comfortable with advanced procedures
· Minimum 1 year of experience
