Gastroenterologist Needed in PA

• Support staff:
• Coverage Type: Must have a least 7 days availability monthly. Job is for Harrisburg, Community, and West Shore. 24/7 GI Call coverage across 3 hospitals requiring consultation, GI procedures including ERCP, and follow ups. ONE site PER SHIFT
• Schedule Details: Shifts are 24 Hour Shifts: 7:30am-7:30am:
• - 7:30a-4:30p On site / in hospital + Night Call 4:30pm - 7:30am
Mon - Sun:
Hospital: 0730 - 1630
Call: 1630 – 0730
• When in hospital / day shift call is in-house
Night Call is 30 Min response & can be taken from hotel.
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• Typical day: P GI hospital coverage, rounding on IPs, performing consultations, performing procedures for IPs, following up on
IPs as appropriate, discharging patients, and providing night call coverage.
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Patient Age Group: 5% peds 95% adults
• Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting
,ERCPs
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC or BE
• State License(s): PA license or licensure
• Certifications: BLS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 3
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Willing To License?: yes

• Ongoing for 6 months or longer
• 24 hour call
• ERCP Required
