Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for hospital-based coverage at a Level I facility in Central Ohio, providing advanced GI coverage with a strong procedural focus.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: February 2026
• Coverage Dates:
• Feb 16 (7:00a) – Feb 23 (7:00a)
• Mar 2 (7:00a) – Mar 9 (7:00a)
• Apr 13 (7:00a) – Apr 20 (7:00a)
• Night beeper call Monday–Friday
• 24-hour beeper call on weekends
• Coverage Requirement: Full-time coverage preferred; will consider physicians able to work a minimum of 7 consecutive days per month

Work Details
• Patient Population: Adult
• Department Focus: Gastroenterology inpatient coverage
• Multiple procedures required such as ERCP, EUS, etc.
• EMR/Charting: Epic

Practice Setting
• Level I Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• State License: Ohio license required (IMLC preferred; open to licensing)
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS (must be current)
• Moderate Sedation: Must complete required education and post-test (minimum 80% score)
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of independent GI practice
