Gastroenterologist needed in Minot, ND (licensing opportunity!)

Job description

Contract Length: 6 months minimum OR locums to perm
Shift Details: 7 on/7 off
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

Work Details:
· Support staff: nursing, front office, NP
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 14 days per month (inc 2 weekends on call)
· Patients per day: 12-18 scopes per day
· Patient population/age: 18+
· EMR: Cerner
· Hospital bed size: 318 beds – Level II Trauma

· Special procedures: ERCP PREFERRED but not required. conscious sedation under the GI provider
· Skills required: colonoscopy, esophagastroduodenoscopy (upper GI), sigmoidoscopy. For 98% of the cases, we use Propofol and have a CRNA on the case.
