Gastroenterologist Locum in Greensboro, NC | No Call + $470/hr

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity with Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call or weekend coverage
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Contract Length: 6 months with potential extension

Coverage Details:
- Coverage at Moses Cone Hospital and Wesley Long Hospital
- Weekday-only schedule with no call responsibilities
- Full-time GI/Endoscopy lab coverage

Work Details:
- Practice setting: GI Lab / Endoscopy
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
- Support staff: Advanced Practice Provider dedicated to hospital
- EMR: EPIC (preferred experience)

Responsibilities:
- Perform endoscopic procedures in GI lab
- Provide inpatient GI consult coverage as needed
- Work across multiple hospital locations within the system

Procedures:
- ERCP (required)
- EUS (required)

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active NC license or IMLC accepted
- DEA required
- Strong ERCP and EUS experience required

Credentialing:
- Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
- Willing to license candidates
