Gastro MD needed in North Kansas City!

Job description

Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month: 24/7 call and hospital services, and on campus for approximately 8hrs/day. GI hospitalist role. Daily consults + night call/call back.
• Frequency of any Call needed: See above.
• Schedule Details: See above.
Work Details:
• Support staff: Yes, APP providers to help round.
• Patient Volume: 700 procedures per month on average, inpatient and outpatient. Around 200 consults per month.
• Department Description: Inpatient; consults during the day and procedures as needed. Closed ICU. Interventional radiology and colorectal surgery.
• Patient Age Group: 18-above. No peds.
• EMR/Documentation System: Cerner
• EMR/Documentation system experience – required or preferred?: Preferred.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: ERCP trained would be nice but no required.
