About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services managing up to 16 procedures daily with call coverage during weeknights and weekends. The clinician will perform general gastroenterology procedures with conscious sedation and advanced cases including ERCP and EUS with anesthesia support. Daily responsibilities include evaluating patients requiring gastroenterology expertise, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation standards for both routine and complex gastrointestinal conditions requiring specialized intervention.
