Position Details

Schedule:

Weekday clinic: 7:30a–3:30p (St. Joseph) or 7:40a–3:40p (Redwood)

Night call: 5p–7:30/7:40a (paid at call rate + call back)

Weekend call: 24-hour coverage

½ hour unpaid lunch during weekday shifts

Coverage Needed: Starting January 2026, ongoing (specific shifts determined after privileging)

Support Staff: Yes

Providers Requested: 1

Patient Load: 12–16 per shift

Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient

EMR: Epic

Skills Required:

Upper/Lower GI endoscopy

Esophageal dilatation & manometry (with interpretation)

Small bowel biopsy

Colonoscopy & sigmoidoscopy

Liver biopsy

Requirements

Board Certification: Gastroenterology

License: Active California license only

Certifications: ERCP, FLUORO, BLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
