Family Practice
Schedule & Work Details:
*Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, 8-hour workdays with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
*Patient Load: Up to 18 patients per day (may vary based on cancellations and walk-ins)
*Patient Population: Newborns to Geriatrics (all ages, all backgrounds)
*Support Staff: Dedicated Medical Assistant, Receptionist, Mental Health Therapists, Dietitians, and onsite Pediatrician in most clinics
*Department Focus: Family Medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management, and basic outpatient procedures
*EMR System: EPIC
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
*Provide comprehensive primary care for all age groups
*Comfortable managing a fast-paced, high-volume patient load
*Perform basic procedures (e.g., injections, IUD placements, minor wound care)
*Work independently with minimal ramp-up time (1-week orientation, patient care starts by Day 3)
*Ability to work effectively with interpreters (multilingual patients; Spanish or Russian fluency is a plus)
Travel & Compensation Details:
*Travel expenses covered (flight, rental car/mileage, lodging)
Candidate Requirements:
*Board Certification: Required
*Active WA Medical License: Required (candidates without will not be considered)
*WA DEA License: Active license required
*Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with recent face-to-face patient contact (within the past year)
*Background Check: Must have a clean record (no malpractice history)
*Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
