Family Medicine Assignment Washington – Quick Start - Aya Locums

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
• Location: Multiple locations to choose from, in and around Seattle and along the coast
• Target Start: July (credentialing 2-3 weeks)
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
• Shift Details: (8a-5p), 40hrs/week. Saturday hours optional for OT rate.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time 40hrs/week.
• Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc
• Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics
• Department Description: Community Health Center. Seeing migrants and refugees, outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management.
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
• Skills Required: 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will begin patient care by day 3.
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active WA license, BLS/ACLS, DEA, 2 years experience
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
