• Location: Raton, NM
• Target Start: March2025
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Coverage needed per month: 4x 10hr days in family practice clinic, with 15 days on/15 days off per month of 24hr coverage (to include weekends), typically the first two weeks of the month.
o Tuesday/Thursday: in Rural Care Clinic.
o Monday/Wednesday: in OB clinic
o Call coverage is expected while staffing in primary care clinic (both areas are in the same facility).
• Call: 15-16x 24hr call shifts per month
• Schedule Details: 4x 10hr days; 40hr clinic week paid with 36hrs of direct patient care expected (combination of FP and OB patients)
• Patient Volume: 18 patients per day; 2 patients per hour. Can see an average of 70 deliveries per year (5-7/month). Seven beds in a dedicated OB unit. Any high risk deliveries are transferred to Albuquerque.
• Patient Age Group: adults and some peds/infants
• EMR: Cerner/Oracle
• Required: Board Certified, Active MN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA. NRP is preferred. 1 year experience in Family Practice, 5 years as an OB with at least 100 vaginal deliveries and 40 C-sections (provide detailed case logs).
