Primary care physician or NP needed in St. Louis for full-time work!

Job description

• 60 to 120 day credentialing depending on insurances
• Can commit to 3-6 month assignment and even longer
• Permanent placement an option for right fit, however they're open to true-locums
• Most patients are Medicare / Medicaid
• Open to an FP / IM or NP
• Working Monday through Friday
• 8 hour days with 1 hour lunch
o 8a-5p
• Last patient is scheduled around 3:30, but provider will plan on leaving around 5:00
• Working with either an MA or an RN
• Check-ups, vaccines and cancer screening as well as diagnosis of disease and treatment or referral
• Common long term conditions treated include diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, emphysema, addiction and depression.
• Possibility of some light acute care procedures
• Seeing all ages. Will look at candidates comfortable with adults only
• Around 13-17 patients per day
• EMR is E-Clinical Works
• Open to candidates who may require travel and lodging
