Urgent Care Physician Needed in Northwestern Detroit Suburbs

Job description

Client is looking for 1 more full time locum to work in the Urgent Care clinic. Clinics are open 8 – 8 Monday – Friday and 10 – 2 Saturday and Sunday. Locum will work 40 hours per week and that will include weekends and nights. The schedule is made 30 days in advance and the locum will have total input on when they are on and when they are off but they must work nights and 1 weekend a month.

Clinic generally get about 4 patients per hour.
DOT certification is required for the weekend shifts (locum may obtain and facility will reimburse)
Facility will pay OT after 12 hours in a shift
Locum is needed for a 90 day period.
Facility will train on EMR

They see children as young as 2 years old.

Board Certified Family Medicine - Required (Will not accept Internal Medicine)
MI License & CSR at time of submission - Required
Must be able to see all ages - Required
DOT Certification - Highly Preferred (will allow locum to obtain - facility will reimburse)
Clean background and no MP needed for expedited credentialing - Required
Available to work full time, including nights and 1 weekend a month – Required

• DOT certified is preferred or open to obtaining upon acceptance
• Must be comfortable with suturing and common urgent care procedures
• Full T&L
