Family Practice Locums Need in Chicago IL!

Specialty: Family Practice (FP)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Details:

All outpatient
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM
Tuesday & Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Clinic hours are as listed, but the candidate will only be required to work 40 hours within the week and one Saturday a month
Work Details:

Patients per Day: 24-26 patients per day
EMR: Athena
Case/Procedure Experience: Seeing patients aged 0-99
Preference for candidates who can see pediatric patients, though there is support available if needed
Must be comfortable with geriatric patients and chronic illness
Practice Setting:

The physician will work with two Medical Assistants (MAs):
One MA will cover inbox (charting, follow-up calls, results, etc.)
Another MA will help with rooming patients
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) on staff have their own panel of patients and see 18-20 patients a day
Integrated with Behavioral Health (BH) and dental services on site
Lab and radiology services are off-site
Requirements:

License: Required
Credentialing Timeframe: 45+ days
