Salary is $218K currently for outpatient clinic. With our tax structure here it is closer to $372K. My belief is this is the best place for service and adventure aspect of this position.
Negligible fed taxes. Max 9.5% for our combined local and federal tax so makes take home pay much higher. We are the only hospital for the island chain, 86 bed hospital with 4 bed ICU. With 4 MD's for instance, we have 2 MD's in the hospital during the days for 7 days (Mon.- Sun. with 8Am to 4Pm shifts) and the other MD's split the night coverage that week with 4Pm-8AM shifts. (They switch roles the following week.) The Hospital has a 4 bed ICU, NICU and a Dialysis Unit for 100 renal failure patients plus state of the art diagnostic facilities. Relocation and living expenses are covered. Tropical Island with spectacular beaches and breathtaking island scenes.
