BC Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician needed near Decatur, GA.

Job description

- Start ASAP pending credentialing, ongoing
- Day shift, hours may vary as early as 7a-7p.
- Must be available for a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week
- No call
- Public Service, clinic environment, servicing homeless and underserved on an outpatient basis
- 10-12 patients per day
- Patient population: Primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients ages over 65. May also include care for infant age 0-1 year, child ages 1-12 years or adolescent ages 13-17 years.
- EMR: Epic
- 6 mid-levels provide coverage
- Will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
- Will not respond to in-house codes or provide backup to ED
- Must be comfortable performing pelvic exams, pap smears and employment physicals.
- Must be willing to be trained to work with HIV candidates and Integrated BH. This will not be permanent duties but may be asked to cover in these areas of the clinic.
- Required: Active GA License & DEA, BLS
- Minimum of 5+ years experience
- Local Candidates only, mileage is reimbursed.
- $Competitive Hourly pay + Mileage + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
