Job Description
Our client is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their community health center in Los Angeles. This position is through a Federally Qualified Health Center that has been caring for the underserved populations in Los Angeles for over a century. In this position, you will be treating some of Los Angeles’s most vulnerable patient populations, including children whose economic situation may preclude them from receiving care elsewhere. Working in this clinic will offer you some meaningful experiences, as will life in Los Angeles. Hundreds of neighborhoods each with their own unique culture, history, and character Los Angeles has an abundance of unforgettable opportunities. From the Venice Beach Boardwalk to Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles will surprise and delight you time and time again.

Details:
• Full-time, locum position
• Compile medical records and perform physical examinations
• Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and conditions
• Order select laboratory testing
• Be able to address patient needs including requests for PAP drugs
• Help minimize wait times and large caseloads for other providers
• Formulate a plan of care including but not limited to: medication, specialist referrals, and therapeutic procedures

Qualifications
• Board Certified
• Valid California Nurse Practitioners license
• Four years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
