Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a dedicated Endocrinologist to support a high-demand endocrinology practice in Ohio. This assignment offers a predominantly outpatient focus with light inpatient involvement, a collaborative APP partnership model, and the opportunity to make meaningful progress in complex diabetes management.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: Through June
• Schedule: 3 days per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch included)
• Weekly Coverage: 24 hours per week
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days (temporary privileges available)

• Specialty: Endocrinology
• Patient Volume: Approximately 16–18 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults, ages 18+
• Clinical Focus: General endocrinology with a strong emphasis on diabetes management
• Procedures: None required
• Skills Needed: Broad-based Endocrinology expertise

• Setting: Outpatient department with inpatient responsibilities as needed

Requirements
• Board Certification: Endocrinology
• Licensure: Active Ohio license required (IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted)
• DEA: Active DEA required
