Endocrinology Physician Needed in Athens, OH

Specialty: Endocrinology
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: ends in June
Shift Details: coverage of primarily outpatient endocrinology with inpatient responsibilities and partnership with APPs
Schedule: 3 days per week, 8a-5p with 1 hour lunch
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Office specialists, MA, RN, Advanced Practice Providers
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 24 hours/week
· Patients per day: 16-18
· Patient Population/Age: 18 through the lifespan
· Department Description: Busy endocrinology practice with challenges related to diabetes control.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: none
· Skills Required: general endocrinology knowledge
Practice Setting:
• outpatient dept
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Endocrinology
· License Required: OH license, IMLC LOQ only
· DEA: yes
Credentialing Timeframe (are temps available): 30 days
