About the clinician's workday

The physician associate will provide outpatient endocrinology services on a day shift schedule, managing 16 patients per day across an 8-hour shift structured as 8 visits in the morning and 8 visits in the afternoon, with 30 minutes allotted per patient. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of general endocrinology cases for an adult patient population, with a focus on thyroid disorders, thyroid medication management, and bone cases. Coverage may be provided via telehealth or on-site, depending on facility needs and scheduling. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment, and board certification along with prescriptive authority are required.
