Clinical responsibilities include diabetes expertise and education, triage, urgent visits, in-basket management, and insulin pump management. Potential weekend call coverage is required from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM, with in-house work on Saturday and Sunday. Clinicians must hold an active state license, board certification, and prescriptive authority, and must have a minimum of one year of inpatient and/or outpatient endocrinology experience as an APP.
