Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 5+ months

Shift Details:
Schedule: 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM
Work Overview:
Annual Volume: 21,000 patients
Trauma Level: Lowest level; stabilize and transfer as needed

Requirements:
Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM (alternative boards not accepted)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
License: Active Virginia license
DEA: Required
Experience: No minimum required, but must be board certified

• Lowest level of trauma, very few cases per the director, they stabilize and transfer
• Doesn't respond to codes on the floor because they have 24-hour hospitalist coverage, almost always dismissed immediately.
• Board Certification: ABEM/AOBEM
