15 ER physicians needed across free-standing ERs in Corpus Christi area!
• ER 24/7 Portland
• Short 15 Full time physicians across the system of Corpus Christi Medical Center
• Need ASAP
• Possibility of working 1 year as locum
• All shifts are 6a-6p, 6p-6a with single doc coverage
• Flexible schedule, no set dates need as of now
• No call
• Physician need only, no APPs needed
• 11 hrs app coverage every day
• Each site has APP on site
• Onboarding is 2 Hr process to educate on Meditech and local quality measures. Also, there will be one shadow shift at each main site and 1 shadow shift at any FSED (they all function the same)
• Will accept ABFM or ABIM with ER experience for FSEDs
• Will need to provide case logs
• 12 beds at Portland
• 10% admissions at FSEDs
• Multiple consults per day
• Patient census: mixed, more younger patients
• All sites see high acuity. Physicians must be efficient in central line placement, intubation, dislocation reductions, trauma, stemi, strokes, OB deliveries.
• 45 patients per day
