Emergency Medicine Locum Need in Texas

Support Staff: Scribe coverage is available, with access to cardiology, neurology, OB/GYN, and orthopedics.

Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts
Schedule Options:
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Facility Details:
• Type: Hospital – Level IV Trauma
• Beds: 51 ED and Fast Track, 237 total hospital beds
• Avg. Daily Census: 150 patients (54K annual volume)
o 0.35% EMS
o 16.07% admitted
• Procedures: Does not run codes on the floor
• EMR: Epic
• Vaccine Requirement: Flu vaccine mandatory

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM only (must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program)
• State License: Active Texas license required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Credentialing Timeline: ~60 days
