Are you ready to make a difference in the heart of Texas? We’re seeking passionate Emergency Medicine physicians for a rewarding locums assignment in beautiful Kerrville, TX! With an estimated length of 6-12 months (or longer), you’ll have the chance to work in a dynamic environment while enjoying all that this charming town has to offer.

Position Highlights:

Flexible Shifts: Cover 12-18 shifts per month with the flexibility to choose 2-3 days if local, or 3-4+ days if traveling.
Board Certification Required: ABEM, AOBEM, or board eligible candidates are welcome to apply.
Residency Trained in EM: We’re looking for EM-trained physicians, but exceptions can be made with Med Director approval.
Supportive Staffing Model: Work alongside a dedicated team with 3 physician shifts and 2 APP shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
Patient Volume: Join us in caring for approximately 31,000 annual visits with an average of 85 patients per day.

Shift Details:

Physician Shifts: 6a-4p, 12p-10p, 8p-6a
APP Shifts: 9a-7p, 3p-1a

Facility Info:

Trauma Level: IV
ED Capacity: 20 beds (with 4 additional hallway beds as needed)
ICU Beds: 12
EMR System: Meditech Expanse

Requirements:

Active state license required to proceed (can start the application process without it).
ACLS required for non-boarded docs and APPs; ATLS not required for boarded physicians.
