Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Kerrville, TX!

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Kerrville, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant community with a diverse patient population.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: November (pending clean file); December or later if additional processing is needed
Length of Assignment: 6-12 months or longer
Shifts Required: 12-18 shifts per month
Minimum Shifts:
2-3 days for local candidates
3-4+ days for non-local candidates

Certifications:
Not required for boarded physicians.
Non-boarded physicians and APPs must have ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Patients per Day: Approximately 85
EMS Percentage: 13%
Admitted Patients: 25%
Trauma Level: IV
ED Beds: 20 (No fast track; 4 hallway beds available)
ICU Beds: 12

Physician Shifts:
6 AM - 4 PM
12 PM - 10 PM
8 PM - 6 AM

EMR System: Meditech Expanse
Privileging Timeframe: 60-90 days
State License: An active state license is required to proceed; applications can start without one but candidates must have it before attending meetings or obtaining temporary privileges.
